Vehicle technology

The company's own vehicle fleet of our logistics group entails 253 vehicles. The largest portion is constituted by the vehicle fleet of the GKS Gerloff forwarding company, which is predominantly comprised of long-distance truck trailers with a gross vehicle weight of 40 tonnes. Our vehicle fleet, which is characterised by its well maintained and modern state, includes the following vehicles:

   - Jumbo articulated vehicles with an interior height of three meters and sliding roof
   - Articulated vehicles with tautliners and sliding roof
   - Mega trailer vehicles with an internal height of three meters and sliding roof
   - Coil trough trucks (partly in lightweight design and / or three meters internal height)
   - Light-trailer vehicles with a payload of up to 27,2 tons
   - BDF (Federal Association of the German long-distance haulage) norm swap body vehicles with turntable drawbar trailers or centre axle trailers (partly with tail lifts)
   - Short-distance traffic vehicles with a box-type van body and tail lifts
   - Delivery vans and small transporters
